Day 1: Arrival at Fes

Upon your arrival at Fes airport, a warm welcome awaits you as we escort you to your riad in the heart of the Medina. Settle into your accommodation and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay. (Bed and Breakfast included)

Day 2: Exploring the Wonders of Fes

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at your riad before embarking on a captivating exploration of Fes, the oldest city in Morocco. Wander through its ancient alleys and streets, visiting significant sites of cultural and historical interest, such as the illustrious Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region. Delight in the sight of the Tanneries and the Attarine museum, and pay homage to Mulay Idriss mausoleum. Conclude your day with an overnight stay at your riad. (Bed and Breakfast included)

Day 3: Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Errachidia - Merzouga

Following a sumptuous breakfast at your riad, bid farewell to Fes as we set off towards the beautiful mountain village of Ifran, often compared to “the Switzerland of Morocco” for its picturesque setting. Our journey continues, revealing glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas Mountains as we stop at Azrou, a Berber village surrounded by the magnificent cedar forest – the largest in Morocco. Keep an eye out for the playful Barbary apes that inhabit the area.

Travel through the captivating Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge, witnessing the transition from lush landscapes to hints of the desert as we approach the city of Errachidia. Journey along the luxuriant Ziz Valley, enjoying panoramic views, and continue our expedition through Erfoud and Rissani, finally arriving at the enchanting Merzouga. Day 4: Merzouga Area and the Camel Trek

A delicious breakfast at your riad prepares you for an explorative journey of the Merzouga area. Meet the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, and experience their captivating music and lifestyle. Discover the nomad wire house, offering authentic Berber handicrafts at exceptional prices.

In the afternoon, embark on an extraordinary camel trek, guided by experienced camel handlers, to explore the mesmerizing golden sand sea of Merzouga. Day 5: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Continuing our journey, we visit the Todra Gorges, the highest and narrowest in Morocco, where you have the option to hike within the valley and interact with the locals. A delightful lunch in the heart of the gorge awaits, before we traverse the Dades Valley. Witness the majestic sand castles and peculiar rock formations known as “monkey toes” before retiring to your riad/hotel in Dades Valley for a relaxing overnight stay. Day 6: Dades Valley – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Tiz Ntichka Pass – Marrakech

After a fulfilling breakfast at your hotel, we set out through the Dades Valley, leading to Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazat. Our route, known as the “Way of the Thousand Kasbahs,” offers numerous opportunities to capture some of the most captivating photographs of your journey. Pause at Kalaat Mgouna, the “rose city,” to purchase rosewater, a fragrant souvenir that will remind you of your adventure.

Continuing our journey, we visit the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, an architectural marvel and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Our expedition culminates with the majestic Tizi n’tichka Pass, crossing the High Atlas Mountains at an elevation of 2260 meters. Arriving in Marrakech, retire to your riad/hotel for a comfortable overnight stay. (Bed and Breakfast included)

Day 7: Exploring the Vibrant City of Marrakech

Indulge in a delectable breakfast at your riad before embarking on an exploration of Marrakech, often referred to as “the red city of Morocco.” Uncover its most significant historical and cultural sites, including the Saadian tombs, the magnificent El Bahia Palace, and the illustrious Ben Youssef Coranic School. What is included in the cost?

The fee includes the following for the whole tour:

What if I don’t want to do all of a tour?

We are flexible and all the tours can be modified to suit your specific needs and interests. If you have a different route in mind please let us know and we will offer a tour tailored to your specific requirements.
