Itinerary

Day 1: Tangier to Fes via Assilah

Upon your arrival at Tangier Port/Airport, you will be warmly greeted as we begin our adventure. Our first stop is the captivating coastal town of Assilah, known for its annual “Art Painting” festival, attracting artists from all corners of the world to paint its Medina walls. Take a leisurely stroll through this beautiful town before continuing our journey to Fes.

As we travel along the highway, you’ll have a chance to witness the picturesque landscapes of Morocco. Arriving in Fes, check into your riad and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay. (Bed and Breakfast included)

Day 2: Exploring the Cultural Capital, Fes

After a delightful breakfast at your riad, embark on an explorative journey of Fes, the cultural capital of Morocco. Wander through its alleys and small streets, immersing yourself in its rich heritage and historical sites.

Begin your visit at the Royal Palace, followed by a tour of the Jewish quarter and the first Mellah built in Morocco. Explore the prestigious Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, and witness the vibrant Tanneries. After a delicious lunch, visit a ceramic factory and enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fes. The afternoon is dedicated to exploring the modern city of Fes. Day 3: Fes to Chefchaouen via Meknes and Volubilis

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at your riad before we continue our journey to the enchanting blue city of Chefchaouen. En route, we pass through Meknes, where you will visit the impressive Mausoleum Mulay Ismail, the grand Bab Mansour Gate, and the vibrant Lahdim Square.

Next, we travel to the roman ruins of Volubilis, one of the most beautiful Roman sites in North Africa. Admire the well-preserved mosaics and soak in the historical ambiance of this ancient city. Our journey then takes us through the picturesque foothills of the Rif Mountains, arriving at the mesmerizing Chefchaouen via Ouazzan. Day 4: Exploring the Blue Gem, Chefchaouen

What is included in the cost?

The fee includes the following for the whole tour:

Where appropriate, the fee also includes:

A guided camel safari in the desert
A night with the nomads of the Sahara
Official guide’s fee in the imperial cities – Marrakech and Fez.

What if I don’t want to do all of a tour?

We are flexible and all the tours can be modified to suit your specific needs and interests. If you have a different route in mind please let us know and we will offer a tour tailored to your specific requirements.

How do I book a tour?

Please contact us by e-mail or telephone as detailed on the page. We will then be able to discuss and agree on an itinerary that suits you. When you wish to confirm the booking a 20% deposit will be required at least two weeks before the start of your tour.
